The Candy Man Comedy Show - Atlanta GA

a>For the fourth year in a row, Brian Sodl (aka Candy Man) will be participating in an event called "Fantasy Day at Fenway Park" that raises money for The Jimmy Fund (www.jimmyfund.org), which is an organization directly linked with the Dana Farber Cancer Institute in the treatment, prevention, and research of cancer. For 15 years, the Jimmy Fund has partnered with the Boston Red Sox in putting together "Fantasy Day at Fenway Park". Let me tell you about how he became involved with this event.

His friend Rob has had cancer for 8 years and is currently being treated at the Dana Farber Institute. Four years ago he assembled a team (www.teamrusso.com) to participate in Fantasy Day and our team has raised over $500,000. The best part about this event is that the money our team raises goes directly to the doctor who is researching the cancer my friend has.

Red Light Cafe has agreed to let me host a comedy fundraiser on Tuesday, May 13th to raise money for the event. There will be at least two other comedians, and I will be the headliner. The charge will be $15 at the door. To my ardent supporters over the past three years, I will be performing all new material!
