I just found it kinda like.. shocking that Bush didn't take more offense to it. He's supposed to be our figure head and head ambassador to nations. Acting like the BIGGEST insult you could ever get in Islamic culture isn't a big deal is kinda like.. dumb. You want to at least acknowledge the fact that it was insulting, but that you take it in stride because you shouldn't allow insults to throw you off course. You don't say that it wasn't a big deal, because it obviously was. The guy who made the shoes just sent an order out for 15,000 pairs of the shoes in Iraq alone. There were almost 90,000 orders in Europe and just shy of 20,000 in the US.
