Mohawks Rock

Hey everyone, I'm new over here, and I'm just wondering of any other ways I could make my hawk up.

There has been some problems recently, like my friend cut off his hawk, and he refuses to come to me and straighten mine(usually we did it together). So now, I'm looking for some tutorials or something.

In few past days I have tried different ways, like straightening my hair on my own, but I can't do it. The way with soap doesn't work for me, and my hawk is too short for har spray only. :(

Oh, and maybe I could make my mohawk with got2be, but I can't find it anywhere. ;/

use any hairgel that is creamy like and not water. if you cna't find "got 2 be" try to find short sexy hair, works pretty good
beyond the zone makes a gel for mohawks.. gel doesnt work for me but hell, maybe it will do you some good
beyond the zone ruined my hair!!! the hair dye is crap too. i don't advice beyond the zone at all
Ok thanks, I'll look for them... Haven't tested al barber's shops, but in those witch I have visited, you can't get got 2 be, and there's no point of trying shops, cause they really suck. Best hairspray you can get is Taft Titan Look. Well you can live with it. :D
try switching to hairspray
It's never too short for hairspray. And I use Tresemme. Go watch elcuellorojo's videos on youtube. They're great.

I find that gel weighs it down.. I don't like it at all. I use it at the tips if they are starting to split, but that's pretty much it, and only a tiny tiny bit.
Ehh, dunno. Gonna try few times more with that hairspray, bet the mohawk looks like shit :D The thing is when you comb it up, there's really not many space to apply hairspray...
im using hairwax "medium" hardness
wax=shiteburger
Just pull the hair tight, and spray the shit out if it with hairspray.. it doesn't matter how long it is, how your hair is, or the type of hairspray really... If you saturate the hair with hairspray then PULL straight up it will cause your hair to go straight, keep pulling while you put the hairdryer to it.. once the hairspray dries (shouldn't take more than a couple seconds) it should be left standing straight up. Here's a tip, when you're pulling the hair up and you spray, sometimes the hairspray will just kind of chill on the side of your hawk instead of seeping in and getting all nice and throughout your hair.. this will also cause it to dry concentrated in kind of a cobwebby looking white shit thing.. you can prevent this and get better results by just rubbing the hair (while you're pulling it straight up remember) with your (other hand) finger after you've soaked your hair with the spray, this will spread the product more evenly across the hair and cause it to seep in and make a better hold. (you should have lots of time to work with it, especially if you use lots, this will make it take longer to dry naturally which is fine because you'll be blowdrying) I also find it easier to do the front have of my mohawk between my legs (upside down)
Thanks, as I said, I'm gonna try it few more times... If nothing works out, I'll stay witth straightening. :]
I've tried using a hair straightener, but it seems that it just burn the hairspray between the prongs. Has anyone else used this method?
