Growing out the 'hawk.
Unfortunately, awhile back I had shaven my mohawk off, regretting it ever since. It was about a month since I was letting it grow out, and it was barely an inch. I got what's called DOOGRO. It's been two and a half months and my hair has grown a little over 3 inches. It does make you'r hair quite oily, but works wonders. I would recommend it. :D

Other have recommended this as well. Also Maine and Tail horse shampoo for hair growth.
