i think there are a few people here from norway or sweden but im not sure, browse the rockers and try to find as mnay people as you can

I'm of Swedish ancestry and I live in a cold climate in the midwestern US. Does that count?

I speak and read some Swedish, and am failry fluent in German. Both lanuages were spoken in my home along with American English. I consider British and Australian English different dialects of the language.

I am quite proud of my Swedish ancestry. My family surname is Johannson (Americans have a hard time dealing with that - there aren't that many Swedish-Americans). I'm 1.5 generations removed from the Old Country. And I'm an 'old school' Scandanavian Lutheran.

At any rate, be careful... I can read enough Swedish to understand an insult.... :).
