Help with styling a mohawk

ok, so i dunno weather my hawk is a bit too long for this, but i cant get it to fan nicely. like i hairspray comb and use the hair dryer, but no matter what i do i get like gaps in my hawk. i want it all nicely fanned out with no gaps but am having trouble.
Any help?

hmmm, maybe it's not cut thick enough. mine is really thin and pretty long. i get the best fanning results with got2b freeze spray and a comb. if i use like glue or gel it gets gappy.

in my expierence the longer your hawk gets the more gaps your bound to have.. when my hair was shorter it would fan perfectly, not a single gap! but the longer it gets (and sometimes the thinner your hair gets) the gaps start showing up. doesnt bother me too much, you kinda get used to them.

Yeah, I don't give a fuck how my hair looks anymore.. haha as far as gaps go.. My hair looks like shit right now :D

i think folks with really hot hawks kinda let their hair, to an extent, do what it's gonna do. letting its natural texture show through. leave perfection for the preps and just be fierce, but if you really must i find this works for a bettter fan. step one, get it up quick, bend over let gravity do the work, blasting freeze spray it so it stands on its own. let air dry. then close yours eyes and brush the shit out of it! then reapply the spray and work quick. got 2b's spray when dry reactivates when sprayed again, but the second round gets tacky and sculptable, so even when still moist it will stand allowing you attain a perfect fan. just remeber it seems to dry quicker the second time. good luck and have fun.

will give it a whirl, one of my mates who has a short hawk suggested sprayin it whilst its down then kinda comb it up so it has a kind of bass almost, then try do it the normal way.
