Idid it myself. I knew I didn't want an all the way down the back of my head 'hawk, so that did make it easier. After washing my long hair, I parted it on one side, being careful to keep it as straight as I could, shaved at the part, and then repeated on the other side. Once that was done I just combed it up and did the length/height cut to where I thought it should be. All along I was focused on the idea that I could always take more if I needed to, but once it was gone, well... too bad. I waited a day or two before I did the dye job, again on my own. Just today when I did my touch-up dye refresh I figured out the technique that makes it a WHOLE lot easier to deal with the dye. Man, it's messy shit. Not so bad today, though. The bleaching the first time through was a B***H. Wondering if I'll suffer through that again or not. I have to see how the dye takes to my naturally very dark locks. (No fair calling me out on the gray. My hair is almost as dark as my beard is gray.) I really should get some help getting the top cut shaped right, though. That's an awkward move with the scissors while trying to watch in the mirror.
I have been toying with the idea of shark-fin shape. Hadn't thought of it, and that would take some extra hands to be sure. Anyone here have one like that? Maybe that's goofy. Just typing out loud.haha actually i like the shark fin idea, i've thought of doing it as well
The sides I did myself, the back I had to get done at the barbers, but be very picky, bcuz they can really screw it up!
First time, when I just had a mohawk cut, it was my girl friend Josephine who did it.
Then I wanted chelsea-trihawk which my girl friend Pernille cut.
Then I cut chelseacut on myself.
Then I wanted chelsea-bihawk, which my friend Michael cut.
Then I cut chelseacut again...
Then I wanted chelsea-bihawk again which my girl friend Katja cut...
Yeeeeah!!!
hahaha oh that blows lol yes, cutting hair and alcohol seldom mix well ;D
Myself. Too long ago now to remember what the first one was like, but I remember noticing for the first time the back of my skull has a flat patch. heh That used to bug me. It's always tricky doing the back, I use mirrors but it really used to only be easier when I had two full length mirrors of my mum's wardrobes.
Now I have to settle with a hand-mirror and wall mirror...tricky and make plenty of mistakes even still. heheh
hahaha i have that flat thing too ;D
