and it was never able to hold the color i had in it. purple. :(
I bleached my hair four time using 20volume, then again with 30 volume and again with 40volume.

So... I know the meaning of black to dead-bleached hair.

I just use extra conditioner, avoiding washing it all out. When I blow dry or straighten my hair, I use a heat protection spray before and after. Your hair gets kinda greasy and slimy faster then normal, but I'd think it's better for your hair to be greasy then dry.

If you're putting colour in your hair, wash your hair of all products, and don't use conditioner. Make sure you wash the shampoo out really well and dry. You're hair may feel like hay, but it'll keep the colour in... or should. And when you wash the colour out, just condition. If you wash with shampoo again it'll strip the colour.

dang i just gave up and went back to black hair. have been conditioning ass loads since then.
ill go 2 days with out shampoo before my hair looks like i live in a gutter

i was thinking of trimming the hair down to get some healthy hair growin again...but its sad to cut the hawk at all. i like not being able to fit in my car haha

heres some healthy hair care tips:

-wash your hair every other day. unless you have extremely oily hair washing it everyday will make it dry. your hairs natural oils help protect your hair, so you dont want to wash it all away everyday.. but you also dont want to let it build up too much.

-wash your hair with warm water (not hot) and rince with cold. the warm water, like the pores of your skin, opens your hair folicals, allowing it to be cleaned throughly. the cold water closes them back up.

- brush your hair well everyday. this takes the oils your scalp makes to protect your hair and coats each strand. be gentle and use a good brush.

- deep condition/use a hair mask once a week. you can buy some at both at beauty supply stores or most places that sell shampoo/conditoner. or you can make your own usuing foods like avacado, mayo, eggs, butter, olive oil, etc. mix together and nuke till warm work into your hair, cover with a plastic bag or plastic wrap and leave on for a half hour then wash out.
-use a hot oil treatment once a month, they can be found very cheap at beauty supply stores. hair placenta is also a great product found at beauty supply stores.

-get monthly trims to remove all spit ends.

-avoid using styling tools that use heat (blow dryers, curling irons, flat irons, etc). avoid bleaching and excessive dying..
good info. although....my hair is all dead due to bleaching :(
so all these ways would make it beast again?
It will help greatly, yes. You can deep condition more too, couple times a week at least sine it's already so damaged.. Trim off what you can, it give your hair less to try and repair. Just keep taking care of it and be gentle, try not to put it up and stuff

oh yeah ive only spiked it once since fucking it up. it didnt work out so well. so i prob need to spike it and trim it down some :(

although this plastic bag thing just sounds fun haha

Lol it kind of is XD it's the same as deep conditioning just cheaper with stuff you prob have around the house.
i mean hell, ive always needed a reason to put mayo in my hair. so i think ill give that a try ahahah
Ugh. Tell me about it.  I've dyed my hair 30 times in 3 years.  And I've bleached it each time. :/   I use UV light to bleach it, but it scars the shit out of my face if I get it on.  Soy treatments super help, as long as anything with Pomegranate.  Erm.. Vitamins with fish oil, vitamin B12, B2, or C all help immensely.
My mom gave me all her left over super awesome colored hair conditioner things from when she dyes her hair. I hate that natural hair colors have those, but not "punk" color ones. When you condition, leave it in for 2 minutes before rinsing.
