If you have to ask that question then you're already in trouble. Go with what makes you feel best. I personally like professional body mods. I check out tattoo parlours for months before getting work done. You gotta mind your health. The machine robs enough of your health without you giving up the rest of it.

i don't have any now, but i used to have 17 and they had them all done at a shop. 2 rejected, but from what i have heard that piercing tends to do that(both anti-tragus). i had 2 that were done wrong the women went to deep, and i had to take them out because they wouldn't heal. lesson learned never get erogenous zones pierced at a shop you don't know.

My cartilidge was pierced in a shop but that rejected. Ive also got 2 lobe piercings ive done myself. They keep getting infected so I've left the 2nd ones but am still persisting with the 1st. A smiley ive done myself too. Its pierced a bit wonky but everything else is fine with it and it looks pretty good. I only pierce myself cuz i dont have enough money to get them done pro but if i did i would as your generally ensured a cleaner and better quality piercing with less pain. Its got nothing to do with whats more punk, its what you prefer and feel safe doing.

haha i see, but i feel cleaner when i do it because i've boiled and sterilized all my piercing equipment. and im typically rather quick when i stab it, so i dont have much pain. although i dont feel much pain.. ive never had a rejected piercing.. so i guess im just lucky.

its all about how your bodys suited to piercings. im really not but i hope my smiley will last. there are lots of things i wouldnt self pierce (microdermals, genitals, tounge) but some piercing are so overpriced doing it yourself is better (nose, eyebrow, bellybutton, ears i would all do myself) if your ready to accept the consequences.
