Mohawks Rock

I've started making my own patches. I use this paper that has a sticky back that you can peel off. I print off a picture of whatever I want on my patch. like a band logo for example, then I trace it onto the paper, cut out the black section with an exact-o knife, peel off the back, then stick it on whatever I want the logo on. after that I take some silk screening paint and put a couple of layers of it on top. once the paint is dry I peel off the sticky paper and you have a patch that looks as good as the ones you can buy at shops.
I was just wondering how you like to make your patches?

for a lot of really good stencils you should check out stencilpunks.org
it's a REALLY good site, the stencils come already made.

the picture is the Circle Jerks patch I made sewn onto my vest I just started.

here are a few of the threads already going about patches. some about making them, some about where to get them, etc. maybe youll find some of the feedback your looking for in them.

I cut up old T-shirts for designs and paint onto plain scraps from them.
Looks good, but honestly, unless I'm doing something original, there's not point on wasting the money/time on making one.
Honestly I just have a few old shirts that I cut u and I draw the patch designs on. But other people buy special aper that you can print designs onto and then iron the design onto a shirt/jacket/jeans/whatever.
