Mohawk religion

At school, I have been told many times that my mohawk is "too much", and, on several occasions, been forced to put it down. But then I got to thinking, why don't I just do what everyone else is doing, and abuse the system?

So my question is: is there a religion or something that believes in mohawks that I could say I believe in or actually become a part of? The church of body modification (http://uscobm.com/) is the closest thing I could find, but not really what I am looking for.

You could say you are part of an ancient:
Irish religion, because they found some Irish guy from 2000 years ago with a 'hawk in a bog,
Mohican, obviously, but I am unsure if they had a specific religion,
And possibly African. If you are white, tell them you have a certain percentage African and you are still devoutly religious.

Oh yeah, to add to that other post, make sure that your parents won't find out and blow your cover. Then you will have angry teachers, angry parents, and probably, still no mohawk.
