(my tale is to be read with a captain kirk/hunter s. thompson styled technique)
A long long time ago... In a land, not so far away....
There lie a boi, who had yet to realize his destiny.... He had strived for 3 vigorous months too grow his mohawk to a reasonable length, before he had shaved it off, foolishly for a court appearance...
Little did he know, his journey had yet to begin... And so not even 3 days after the court appearance he reasstablished his balls, and shaved his already bald head even shorter, only this time leaving a small 4 or so inche wide strip down the middle. After about 2 months it was long enough he began experimenting with dyes, bleaches and all the wonderous tools of mohalk vanity...
Through sadening and horifying tales with bleach and dye, he discovered his inner skills in the ways of not completely destroying his hair.... For the most part...
In greater lengths of halkness, he seldom experimented with other colors, than that of green, teal, turcoise, and blond itself.
Hair grew greater in length, and with such, greater with the innability to spike is, and keep it from his mother fucking face..sorry..where was i... Ah yes, his hair grew longer, the complications greater grew as well...
And so, with the lack of assistance/compitence for spiking, the mohalk (not mohawk) was born. A usually freely shagging mohalk, occasionally pulled into a ponytale.
This whole post has been very interesting.
I dig most of the peoples transformations, especially yours, Trashy. Gorgeous.
Well my pictures start off from when I was in 7th grade. Hair all natural and never cut [just trimmed] since I was born.
I decided to bleach & dye 7 in. of my hair the summer after 7th grade and a family friend/neighbour was a hair stylist [he did our family's hair, so I trusted him]
While he was bleaching, he was talking to my mom [Gay and on dope; never stopped talking] He forgot about me and my hair started to SMOKE. I had my hair like that for about 4 or so months.
I finally cut it off and did a couple of strips of bleach beginning of 8th.
Got bored with my hair, bleached it, and did a bit of pink end of 8th.
Summer after 8th I just kept dying my hair loads of different colours [I don't really have any, though] I do have this picture, however which was taken the beginning of my Freshman year. November 2007.
I got bored of my style and wanted to do something drastic, and thought of a mohawk first thing. It took a couple months to convince my grandma then she said, "Okay, that's alright. You should meet the woman who does my hair" I met her a week before I got it done and she told me to let my hair fade out so the colour that she does will be intense. [I was posing for the girl I got the jacket from. Derangeddesigns.com] February 2008.
Days later I got my mohawk! The reason I got it done by a pro was because she is [now] a 42 year old punk rocker. In the punk scene since she can remember and had done a million mohawks, so who better to trust? February 2008
A bit after I got it, I wanted it to be less wide and didn't want the hair connecting my hawk to my side burns [I regret making it less wide]
March 2008
June 2008, dyed it for SF Gay Pride Parade '08. You [obviously] can't see but that was my first attempt at starting a trihawk but I shaved them shortly after.
February 2009. Second attempt at trihawk [you can't see the other side, but it's there]
Skipping through most of the year of MANY different colours and styles of my mohawk to October 2009 & my third attempt at the tri [except it's really a bi, I guess. I call it a "side hawk"]
Super grown out, January 2010.
2 year anniversary of my 'hawk. Kat put it up. I had to take off right after.
My hair is so dead now and the colour won't stay. The only reason I'm happy about that is because I dressed up as Alice for the premier of the movie [I'm a die-hard Alice fan; movies & books] but I didn't like it. This is the most recent picture of me. March 2010.
If you wanna see the real transformation [all the different colours/styles the past 2 years] check out my MySpace :]
