Mohawks Rock

Hi,

Can I use hairspray to make a fan hawk without using a hairdryer? Or is there a gel that is any good, which can be used instead of hairspray? My hawk is real short, like 2 inches only. See, I don't have a hair dryer, and the gel I use sucks because my hair is curly so it doesn't go up straight. I don't want to use elmers glue or gelatin or anything nasty.

Thanks.

itll jsut take forever to dry
The hair dryer would ensure that your product dries (so it doesn't fall and separate) and that your fan stays straight - less curly. You can try, but I won't guarantee that it'll look how you want.
If you want to do a short messy mohawk, then you'll be set. Just make sure your hair is dry, put the product in and rub it and mess it the fuck up.

I don't see how glue or knox is nasty. It's just a pain to get out. haha.
Try using a flat iron to straight your hair. It'll still be difficult, I'd imagine, but at least slightly easier.
use a hairspray with alot of alcohol in it, that means it will dry faster. the spray i use, bed head hard head hairspray, dies fairly quick. ive gotten away with putting up my huge hawk with that hairspray and fanning it with a magazine..it took a long time and it wasnt as strong as it usually is but it worked! with a hawk as short as yours using a magazine or something to fan it while holding up should be super easy
Murray's Pomade, ninja.
go get a hair dryer. They're like $8 for a cheap on at wal-mart.
If your hair is curly a lot of people use a straightener then glue/gel at that very small length.
Spiker by ICE is my suggestion. It's glue for your hair. But I still recommend the straightener and blow dryer over that.
FUCK HAIR DRYERS never used one (multiple mohawks/spikes)
I just hold my head upside down until its dry..

But I use elmers glue so yea...
