When your doing a section, hold up the hair spray then blow dry, just make sure to not let go of your hair till your sure its dry and sturdy. Thats what I do for my spikes. not sure how well it works with a fan but I assume it'll work the same. Hopefully that helps.
Allright i'll try it out, thanks man.
Have you tried products such as Got2BGlued?
what spray do you use?
Sonic has a video on the front section. Definitely the blow dryer is key. Somebody recently said motor oil too, but I stick to Got2beglued and the blow dryer mainly.
I use the dep brand of hair glue, the sport version since it holds well even when sweating (it's been hotter than hell here in So Cal). wet the hair, then dry it with a towel until it's barely damp then get it thoroughly covered with the hair glue. Then, using a comb and blow dryer I comb it up straight and keep the comb about half an inch from the top so it's still holding the hair straight and not letting it fall. While doing that I run the blow dryer section by section until the comb barely pulls through and out of the hair. Once done with the entire bit, i tease it a bit with the comb to even the line. Gives a good fan.

Also have heard of people using a flat straightening iron and hairspray.
