SoCal Punk bands

So I know everyone here is into different music types and all that, but who here's into bands like Strung Out, Pennywise, Bad Religion, Rise Against, The Offspring.

and if you're into these bands, feel free to recommend bands like them.

First off, awesome site! I need your help...or anyone's help will do.

Back in '89 when I was a young ol' tike. I was in Europe switching through the channels when I happened to stumble across a punk band who was just rockin it like I had never seen before. It was a live recording. Singer had a mohawk--greenish in color/reddish? No, it was not Wattie Buchan...this guy had a thick mohawk not a thin one like Wattie's. More like Robert Deniro in Taxi Driver. He had really torn jeans, Doc Martins, a really torn shirt. No heavy British accent..more from the U.S. Really rough vocals. in the song he was yelling the lyrics " la la la, blah blah, you're gonna burn in hell." Through out the years I've discovered many bands that I thought might be this band. From, The Exploited, GBH, Discharge, MDC, Poison Idea, One Way System, to the Meatmen. Nothing, not them. Please help me. I would really appreciate it!!!

Well, at the expense of being seen as a fucking douche, my band, Unit F, is often compared to Pennywise and Bad Religion.

i like all of them except for Strung Out only because I don't know theyre music. They're all punk but you'll meet debates on Rise Against. Bad Religion has a song with Tim Armstrong from Rancid. the Offspring have been refered to as skate punk.
