...As you probably guessed at this point, I a know a thing or two about biology :P . I just graduated college for Wildlife Conservation/Rehabilitation. Although protecting the natural world has always been a goal for me, I'm starting to doubt the whole college, get-an-education thing that everybody finds to be so goddamn important. Although I never really look ahead into the future, I plan on backpacking/hitchhiking/trainhopping accross the country this year with my closest friends. There's just something incredibly free and appealing about dropping everything material and doing the most primitive thing imaginable...being a nomad.
My favorite poet is the random sentence generator, I have an irrational fear of public restrooms, and I cannot walk by a patch of clover without looking for a four-leaf (I'm not superstitious, I just enjoy it). Voltairine de Cleyre is probably the most brilliant mind in feminism and anarchy, but sleeping on picnic tables under the stars is among the most spiritual moments I've experienced. My sexuality can be best described as pansexual. For those who don't know what it means, it's similar to bisexual, except instead of limiting myself to natural-born males and females, I also accept transexuals and transgenders, genderfucks, and everything in between.
It has been said that "music is what feelings sound like" (author unknown). While some listen to music just to pass the time, or for entertainment, I find it to be much more to me. Music can affect my mood, and the way I observe life. Whether it be "heavy metal", "techno", "acoustic", "punk", or "new age",(I use quotation marks because music labels are subjective) there is a special connection between each song.
I am a vegan. I currently work at a family-owned organic vegetarian restaurant as a waitress. I don't wait tables specifically for the money, but to meet new people who share common interests. I am a huge supporter of family-owned shops, restaurants, art galleries, and organic orchards or vegetable farms.

I like to read you like music more than the average people! I experience the same, and I am still surprised how few really care about what they happen to listen to. Most people I know just distinguish between music they already know (= good) and the rest. Hopeless!
