Members are specific MohawksRock.com while the concept of "friends" spans across Ning. It's possible to be friends with someone on another Ning network without them being on MohawksRock.com.

No. To become friends with someone you need to send them a friend request. You can do this by going to the Members page on MohawksRock.com. You'll see that every member has an "Add as friend" link under his or her profile photo. Click the "Add as friend" link to send someone a request to be your friend.

You can easily block people from contacting you. If a member is sending you messages through MohawksRock.com but isn't on any of your networks, click "block messages from this person" on any of the messages they send you. This will prevent them from contacting you in the future.

Additionally, if these are unwanted, spammy or harrasatory in nature, please let Giant Mohawk Man know about this member, so that he can warn them against this type of behavior and ban them if necessary.

At the top of any page you'll see a thin grey strip that has a person icon and a message icon. Click on the 'person icon' and you'll see 4 sections: My Friends, Received, Sent and Blocked. Click on 'Blocked' to bring up all the people that you've blocked. Click "unblock" under the member you'd like to unblock, and that person will now be able to contact you again.
